Cash out in detail
Cash out exists at 1xBet, is defined in the rules rather than only in marketing, and is documented so lightly that you cannot tell in advance what it will cost you or where it will be offered.
The rules call it bet slip sale, state that it can be taken in full or in part, and pair it with an auto sell option that closes a position without the customer acting (Terms of Service, sections 3.1 and 3.2).
The app's advertised feature list includes cash out alongside live streaming, live scores, statistics, bet history and live odds (India mobile page).
The three features, kept separate
- Bet slip sale. Selling a bet back before settlement, in whole or in part. This is the feature most books call cash out.
- Auto sell. A standing instruction to sell at a set point, useful in play when you cannot watch a market. No trigger rules, minimum values or failure conditions are published.
- Bet slip editing. A separate feature that replaces or deletes selections inside a placed bet. The rules confirm that a commission is charged for it (Terms of Service, sections 3.1 and 3.2). Editing is not cash out, and confusing the two will cost money.
What is not published, and why each gap matters
Four absences are material. First, there is no pricing formula and no published margin taken on a sale, so the difference between the fair value of your position and the offer on screen is unknown and unmeasurable.
That is the same gap that runs through the whole book: the word overround appears nowhere in the 739,289 character rules, and every use of margin there refers to winning-margin bet types rather than the bookmaker's take (Terms of Service). Second, the commission on bet slip editing is confirmed but never quantified.
Third, no availability list exists. Nothing published says which sports, competitions, market types or bet structures carry a sale option, whether accumulators can be sold leg by leg beyond the partial-sale statement, or whether in-play and pre-match differ.
Fourth, there is no parity statement across web, iOS and Android, so the presence of a sale button in one place proves nothing about another (Terms of Service, section 3 defines the feature at book level only).
The one independent signal
Users report that availability is the practical problem rather than pricing.
A reviewer on the Nigeria App Store listing describes the sale option missing from most of their slips, putting it as six of eight games with no cash out at all, and the same listing carries reports of search returning non-matching fixtures and a change requiring a fixture to be opened before markets can be viewed.
That is one account rather than a measured rate, and no operator statistic exists to test it against, but it is the only independent evidence on this feature and it points at coverage rather than value.
How cash out interacts with the rest of the account
Three interactions are worth thinking through before you sell a position.
- The withdrawal turnover condition. Before money leaves, stakes totalling the sum of your deposits must have been placed at odds of 1.1 or higher, with hedged play on Roulette, Baccarat, Craps and Dice excluded from the count (Terms of Service, clause 6.2). Nothing published states how a bet sold before settlement is treated for that calculation, so do not assume a cashed-out bet counts.
- Bonus play. The welcome offers require qualifying accumulators of at least three legs at minimum leg prices, or in the single-bet version three sequential winning bets, and no published clause explains what selling a qualifying bet early does to the requirement (India promo page). Assume selling voids the bet's contribution until support confirms otherwise in writing.
- The return cap. The maximum return is limited to 50,000 EUR per bet (Terms of Service, clause 3.3), which is the ceiling any sale offer sits underneath.
The bottom line
As a feature, this is a full set: partial sale, automatic sale and post-placement editing, all defined in the operator's own rules rather than asserted in copy, which is more than some larger books put in writing. As a proposition you can evaluate, it is opaque.
You cannot see the margin taken, cannot see the editing commission, cannot see where the feature is offered, and cannot check any of it before funding an account, since streams and much of the live interface require both a login and a positive balance (India live betting page).
If you rely on closing positions early, test availability with small stakes on the exact markets you care about, screenshot the offer against the live price, and remember that whatever you release still has to pass the cashier, where independent complaint volume is heaviest and the Trustpilot profile stood at 1.8 out of 5 from 9,022 reviews on 22 August 2026.
