Stake.com alternatives compared

How it compares, and when to switch

The question worth asking is not whether something better exists in the abstract, but which of Stake's specific weaknesses would hurt you. We will not put numbers on rival operators we have not examined, so what follows compares Stake against the dimensions that decide these choices, and against Stake's own regional properties, which are verified.

Where Stake is hard to beat

  • Coin cashier transparency. Minimum withdrawal and fee are published for every supported coin in the withdrawal limits article, the fees are flat rather than proportional, and the same page states there is no cap on how much you take out.
  • Rebate structure. Rakeback pays 3.5 percent of the house edge in cash, win or lose, with no turnover attached, across slots, table games and live dealer, per the rakeback article. A rebate with no wagering condition is worth more than a nominally larger bonus that carries one.
  • Documented limits. Maximum bet and maximum profit are tabled per coin and per fiat currency in the crypto limits article and the local currency article. Many operators leave these to be discovered when a bet is refused.
  • Verifiable in house games. Stake Originals carry a published provable fairness scheme, per the fairness article. That covers Originals only, not the third party slot library.

Where it is weak enough to send you elsewhere

  • Regulatory standing. The Curacao register of 20 August 2026 shows licence OGL/2024/1451/0918 with an expiry of 9 June 2026 and a status of assessment in progress, and the authority does not confirm current validity through that document.
  • No independent dispute route. Clause 23.1 of the terms sends complaints to the operator's own inbox and names no adjudicator; clause 25.1 fixes Curacao courts as the forum.
  • Payment breadth. No ewallet appears on any Stake page we verified, and card and bank routes are limited to specific countries with published bands. If you want to fund from a familiar wallet rather than a coin, this cashier will frustrate you.
  • Sportsbook pricing is unmeasurable. Stake publishes no margin or overround data, no market counts and no maximum payout per slip, and no independent margin study for it was available to us. A price led bettor cannot evaluate this book from published information.
  • Racing. A separate racing rules page exists in the policy set, but its contents are not something we can report, so specific racing concessions and settlement rules are unconfirmed.

The specific circumstances in which you should pick something else

You are in Great Britain. This is not a preference, it is a closure. The British site shut on 11 March 2025 and TGP Europe surrendered the licence behind it in May 2025, with the Gambling Commission stating that sites formerly licensed through it cannot lawfully offer gambling to consumers there.

Use an operator holding a current British licence, where deposit limits, dispute resolution and dormant fund rules are enforced by somebody other than the operator.

You are in Brazil. Choose Stake's own local site over the global one. STAKE BRAZIL LTDA is authorised federally for stake.bet.br under Portaria SPA/MF number 263 of 7 February 2025, per the Ministry of Finance list, and Brazil is a prohibited jurisdiction on the global terms in any case.

The local entity comes with a domestic regulator and a Portuguese language support line.

You are in the United States. The global casino is closed to you and the alternative offered is not the same product.

stake.us is a sweepstakes site run by Sweepsteaks Limited with no gambling licence claimed, a 21 age floor, Gold Coins that hold no cash value, and a long list of excluded states including New York, Nevada, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington and California.

If you live in a state with regulated online casino or sportsbook operators, a licensed local option gives you a regulator to complain to.

You want an adjudicator. If your primary concern is what happens when a payout is held, prioritise any operator whose regulator maintains a register you can check for current validity and whose terms name an independent complaints body. Stake's terms do neither.

You are chasing a welcome bonus. The advertised MAXBET code and the 200 percent match are not documented by Stake, and no standard turnover multiplier for a deposit bonus is published anywhere. If the size of the sign up offer is what decides your choice, choose somewhere that publishes its offer terms in full.

Decisive differences

Alternative Score Best for Decisive difference
Shuffle 5.7/10 Best for stated live streaming and a broad listed sports set. Curaçao register record and published withdrawal claim, but 35x deposit-plus-bonus rollover is restrictive.
1xBet 5.0/10 Readers seeking broad stated sports and specialist market coverage. Broader stated sports coverage, but low Trustpilot sentiment and several payment details were not retrievable.
Razed 4.0/10 Skip if you want published minimums for a range of crypto deposits. Anjouan licence register record and published coin minimums, but 40x terms and unexplained RTP figures are constraints.
Rainbet 3.7/10 Best for a stated $15 withdrawal minimum and 5 to 15 minute processing claim. Published 5 to 15 minute withdrawal claim, but Trustpilot sentiment and ownership contradiction are notable constraints.
